2025 Sidewalk Saturday Vendor Application

The 2025 Sidewalk Saturday season will feature markets on the 2nd Saturday of every month from May to December, between the hours of 9a-2p. The markets will include a partial closure of 3rd street so vendors will be located on the closed street or on the surrounding sidewalks. NEW this year, we will be holding a handful of Twilight Markets on a Thursday from 4pm-8pm during the Spring and Summer months. The cost to participate in a Saturday Market is $80 and the cost to participate in a Twilight Market is $40. To ensure variety for patrons and fairness for vendors, we do our best to limit the number of like vendor products at each show. To increase your chances of participating, please make sure to select ALL DATES that you would like to participate for the entire season.

The deadline to submit your application is Sunday, March 2nd at 11:59 pm. The 2025 Season vendor lineup and map will be emailed to all vendors on Monday, March 10th. ELIGIBILITY: All artists & crafters who live in Santa Clara County and San Benito County are invited to apply. Artists and crafters eligible to apply, should make their own work and display products that are appropriate for eyes of all ages; this is a family friendly event. Sidewalk Saturdays does NOT permit food, even pre-packaged or cottage goods, to be sold. All artists & crafters who live in Santa Clara County and San Benito County are invited to apply.
BOOTH FEES & SIZES: All booth spaces are approximately 10' (frontage) x 10' (deep) with room for a 10ft pop up. Back and side tent coverings are NOT permitted as they block visibility to other vendors. Pop-up tents are required to be weighted at all four legs for the safety of patrons and vendors; Morgan Hill is a windy City!
BOOTH SET-UP: Booth set-up begins at 7:30am and your space must be ready to sell by 9am. There will be no vehicle access to your booth space for set-up AFTER 8:00 a.m. or for load out BEFORE 4 p.m. Please be prepared to carry your setup and bring your own cart or wagon. Vendors must provide their own table, chair, pop ups, and weights.
WEATHER/NATURAL DISASTER POLICY: This is a rain or shine event. In the event of severe weather, the event may be postponed at the organizer's discretion. There will be no refunds for cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
VENDOR CANCELLATION: We do not process refunds. In the event that an emergency occurs, we will apply your booth fee as a credit to a future show.
ADVERTISING: The Downtown Morgan Hill Improvement District (DMHID) and the City of Morgan Hill will both be advertising the event on their Instagram and Facebook pages. You may find them located @sidewalksaturdays, @destinationdowntownmh, @buy_local_morgan_hill, and @choosemorganhill. Local media ads, signs, flyers, postcards, and social media/web advertising is also planned. Vendors will be listed on the Buy Local Morgan Hill website at www.buylocalmorganhill.com/sidewalk-saturdays-1

11.Hold Harmless Agreement: Vendor agrees to abide by City of Morgan Hill policies and procedures. Vendor agrees to protect, defend and hold harmless CITY and its elective or appointive boards, officers, agents, employees and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, expenses, or damages of any nature, including attorneys' fees, for injury or death of any person, or damage to property, or interference with use of property, arising out of, or in any way connected with performance or the Agreement by Vendor, Vendor's agents, officers, employees, subcontractors, or independent contractors hired by Vendor. This hold harmless agreement shall apply to all liability, regardless of whether any insurance policies are applicable. I hereby agree and understand that the participation of my business is on an annual basis and the renewal of my selling privileges is based upon the following factors: consistent reserved attendance, cooperation with the market manager, positive relations with the market manager, quality of products, adherence to the market rules and regulations, and adherence to the State of California direct marketing regulations. I hereby declare that I have the authority to sign this acknowledgment / agreement as the participant owner or the participant owner’s representative. By signing this acknowledgment / agreement I agree that I and/or my firm is not a distributorship. I agree that any dispute that arises between myself and the City of Morgan Hill or between the participating businesses and the City of Morgan Hill and any other person(s) and / or entity(ies) related to the participation in Sidewalk Saturdays shall be resolved by the due process policies outlined in the Rules and Regulations. No dispute shall be referred to a court for resolution, but shall be resolved by the process as outlined in the section pertaining to Due Process in the Sidewalk Saturdays Rules and Regulations. I understand I may not be allowed to participate in an event day if I arrive past check in time. Future dates may be canceled if I no show or arrive past check in time to 2 event days. At the conclusion of each event day, I understand I am required to be completely torn down and vehicle loaded for exit no later than 2:30pm.(Required.)
