CUTA is proud to collaborate with UITP to deliver World Public Transport Day in Canada. Launching for the very first time on April 17, 2026, this new annual global celebration recognizes the essential role public transport plays in our everyday lives.

At CUTA, we’re taking celebrations for World Public Transport Day one step further.

Through the Careers in Public Transit Outreach Program (CIPTOP), alongside the leadership of our Youth and Emerging Leaders Subcommittee (YELSC), we’re encouraging members across Canada to go beyond awareness and take action by connecting directly with students and future talent
