Pathway Athlete Nomination Form for April 2024 Intake |
Please fill out this form to nominate yourself for the April 2024 Pathway Intake/Winter Development Hubs.
To be eligible you need to fulfill ONE On Water and ONE Erg criteria listed for the named Level:
Identification Level - 2000m Erg (National Pathway threshold line between Oct 2023 - April 2024), 5000m Erg (National Pathway threshold line between Oct 2023 - April 2024), On Water (NICC/SICC - Prem/Open 1X Top 4, Prem/Open 2- Top 2, NZCC - Snr/U22 1X Top 4, Snr/U22 2- Top 2, NZSS Champs (need to be Year 13) - U18 1X Top 4, U18 2- Top 2, NZ Uni Champs - Champ 1X Top 4, Champ 2- Top 2 or Team Selection - trialist for U23, U21 and U19 teams).
Development Level - 2000m Erg (National Pathway champions line between Oct 2023 - April 2024), 5000m Erg (National Pathway champions line between Oct 2023 - April 2024), On Water (NICC/SICC - Prem/Open 1X Top 2, Prem 2- winner, NZCC - Snr/U22 1X Top 2, Snr/U22 2- winner, NZ Uni Champs - Champ 1X winner, Champ 2- winner). Automatic Selection if named to the NZ U23, U21 or U19 teams.
Performance Level- Automatic selection for U23 medalists and Elite trialists. Selection for those not meeting the automatic criteria is at the discretion of the National Pathway team and contingent upon consistent performance on the water and in physical metrics such as erg testing.
Coxswains - please fill out the form if you are Year 13 or have left school and have previously been selected for any age group (U18, U19, U21 or U23) team or invited to an age group trial. If you don't meet this criteria please contact Janey for further information.
