STEM Saturday Fall Series Presenter Application Form

What do I need to know to be a presenter?
- STEM Saturday workshops are self-contained workshops. Each proposal must only contain content for 1 or 2 workshops.
- Proposals for more than 1 or 2 workshops will not be considered.
- Audience size is typically between 20 and 30 students and about 8-12 years of age.
- Workshops must include a detailed, hands-on component.
- Workshops cannot provide advice of any kind (i.e. health advice, legal advice, etc.)
- Workshops cannot produce anything edible or consumable (i.e. making ice cream or rock candy). Using edible ingredients to make something not edible is allowed (i.e. using candy to make models).
- Keep in mind cost considerations when choosing your topics. Workshops with costs exceeding $100 will not be considered.
- Presenters must be 14 years of age or older.

What support will I get from the library?
- The library will cover all costs of the workshop.
- The library will handle advertising and promotion--although you are welcome to do some promotion on your own as well.
- The library will provide guidance and mentorship on working with younger age groups and with constructing and designing your workshop. If you are looking to build skills, this is a great place to do so!
