Award Criteria

The winner of this award may or may not work in a direct care role. They may be a member of the ancillary staff team, working in areas such as administration, catering, maintenance, housekeeping, or other support services.

This award recognises an individual who works tirelessly behind the scenes, making a meaningful difference through their dedication, compassion, and strong work ethic.

What are we looking for?

- Demonstrates reliability, resilience, and a willingness to support others, often without seeking recognition.

- Makes a positive difference through their everyday actions and contributions.

- Regularly exceeds expectations in ways that may not be formally recognised.

- Takes initiative to solve problems or improve experiences for the people they support, colleagues, or the wider organisation.

- Contributes to a caring, supportive, and inclusive environment.
