1. About This Survey

As part of our commitment to industry research, the MIA conducts a biennial salary and employment survey to monitor market rates and workforce conditions across the marina industries. This survey aims to ensure marina, yard and facility owners and operators remain aware of labour market movements, enabling informed decisions about salaries and workforce planning.

Many operators are reporting difficulties attracting and retaining operational staff, placing upward pressure on wage expectations. The results will help us to understand and quantify the impacts of the current labour market enabling improved advocacy and initiatives to assist in alleviating pressures.

Confidentiality: Results are provided in aggregate only, by state and nationally, where response rate is high enough to ensure individual data can be protected. Only MIA staff will have the only access to individual data. Participants will receive a complimentary copy of the results.
