Dear Members,

As we prepare for 2017, with the new Administration and Congress, we plan to be vigilant in our continued support for resources for housing, homelessness, and community development. These are non-partisan issues and we will work with all of our elected officials and policy makers to find common ground and win-win solutions to ensure a home within reach of all Pennsylvanians.

Now is the opportunity to share your program's and/or community’s successes with our elected officials in Congress. Let our elected officials start the 2017 session already knowing how much Pennsylvanians really do benefit from HUD and USDA housing, homeless, and community development programs as well as the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. We need to be clear that these issues touch every part of Pennsylvania – rural, urban and suburban.

It is through your stories and outreach efforts that we can make the case to fully fund all housing programs and expand the LIHTC, so that all Pennsylvanians, especially those with low incomes, have access to safe, decent, affordable homes.
