GIN Professional Development Webinar Series – Quick Survey

Students and Early Careers Professionals

Supporting the next generation of leaders in guidelines is something we have been working on recently and we have several exciting initiatives in development and look forward to sharing more details with you soon.

One of these is a new professional development webinar series for PhD students and early-career professionals in the guidelines community, launching in autumn 2026.

The series will feature short, practical “How to…” sessions - each will be 30 minutes on Zoom, with a brief presentation followed by live Q&A. The webinars will be open to everyone, with no GIN membership required to attend live.

Recordings will be available on demand for GIN members.
GIN would love your input...

We’re currently shaping the webinar programme and if you are a student or early careers professional, we would really value your ideas on topics to include. We are thinking of sessions in line with the following overarching themes: networking for career success, academic writing and publishing, increasing the impact of your work (including working with policymakers), presentation skills, career development, research methods, and grants and funding.

To make sure this series is as useful and relevant as possible, we’d greatly appreciate your input.

The survey takes less than 3 minutes to complete.
