ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
-Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
-Canadian Diabetes Educator Certificate (Certified Diabetes Educator) required.
-Demonstrated evidence of knowledge of current concepts of Diabetes Management.
-Demonstrated experience educating patients with diabetes
-3 - 5 years experience with Adult and/or Paediatric Education.
-Demonstrated ability to lead groups effectively.
-Demonstrated ability to provide information in a creative sensitive, flexible and innovative manner, conducive to learning.
-Satisfactory attendance.
