This survey is a joint effort with Illinois USDA APHIS Veterinary Services and Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) staff. The goal of this survey is to identify veterinarians who include chickens and other non-poultry avian species in their practice.  The Illinois Department of Agriculture will use this information to determine outreach needs necessary to increase veterinarian interest in poultry medicine.  If given permission, we would like to maintain a list of these veterinarians for outreach, to share with owners who inquire to the department, and possibly as additional response capacity during poultry disease events that may necessitate the assistance of veterinarians in Illinois.  We appreciate your participation and if there are further comments or questions, please reach out to us at agr.bahw@illinois.gov.
