FFPS ADVISORY OVERVIEW

The FFPS Advisory Committee and its subcommittees are tasked with monitoring and advising on implementation of the Family First Prevention Services (FFPS) Program to achieve California’s vision for prevention:

“to develop an integrated state-wide system that supports families to provide safe, stable, nurturing relationships and environments for their children”.

The FFPS Advisory ensures that state and local implementation reflects lived expertise and community voice and is in alignment with California’s Five-Year State Prevention Plan, state FFPS guidance, and other statewide prevention efforts.
