Marijuana Business Daily (MJBizDaily), since 2011 the best-known producer of B2B news and trade shows serving executives and major investors in America's $6 billion cannabis industry, is seeking a CRM Administrator to support other departments by maintaining, supporting, and championing the best technical practices for our Eloqua and Salesforce platforms. This person will implement solutions that ensure ROI to the business, within time frames and with quality, but in a relaxed environment.

Day to day job description (You won’t get bored!):
  • Lead system administration for both Eloqua and Salesforce.
  • Document system configuration and administrative processes as they are developed.
  • Work closely with the business to understand processes and support needs related to the Sales, Marketing areas and other smaller business areas.
  • Provision/de-provision and maintain users, roles, profiles and hierarchies.
  • Ensure users have access to the right data by managing the platform security settings, access to apps, objects, records and fields (roles, profiles sharing rules, permission sets, etc).
  • Mass transfer/re-assign records through working with stakeholders, while following (and in some cases, defining or documenting) processes.
  • Maintains records by performing systematic clean ups of reports, archiving of data and files in accordance to both best practices and internal policies. Keep an eye on storage capacity.
  • Performs routinely data integrity health checks such as records de-dup and enrichment and works with stakeholders to facilitate mass data uploads of records, as needed.
  • Design, document, build, test, and deploy enhancements to custom objects, page layouts, workflows, reports, views and dashboard.
  • Maintains objects and fields as needed (i.e. retire unnecessary fields), workflow updates, data validation, alerts, communication templates, etc.
  • Creates and maintains reports and dashboards that can deliver insights and success metrics.
  • Supports end users troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
  • Ad hoc support in training and adoption and mentor users/groups needing assistance.
  • Monitor usage, improve data quality, encourage system adoption.
  • Engage with the business areas as needed to work collaboratively on requirement gathering and implementing solutions for approved enhancements/changes to ensure proper design and a satisfied customer.
  • Proactively recommend solutions, processes, capabilities or apps that will enhance end user experience, improve usability, enable productivity for users, optimize or automate processes, and increase ROI. 
Required background:
  • 3+ years providing "white glove" type of service to internal employees.
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in all aspects of developing and implementing CRM solutions. Experience with Eloqua and Salesforce preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in platform development and customization experience. Strong programming / development background.
  • Experience integrating other applications to CRM systems.
