The Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders has been working diligently with the local municipalities to help improve the local parks and recreational facilities for our county residents. During tight budgetary years, these types of improvements are usually a low priority and are often cut from local budgets. To date, the County has awarded $10 million to Burlington County municipalities through the Recreational Grants Program to help local towns with these costs.
