Soon, the City of Olympia will officially launch the Adopt-A-Drain (AAD) program. AAD encourages community members to take regular action to reduce localized flooding and stormwater pollution by clearing leaves, litter, and sediment from storm drains.
Before launching the program, we aim to understand potential barriers our community may face in cleaning storm drains, as well as what would encourage and motivate people to perform regular cleaning and reporting.
