NADCA 30th Annual Meeting: Call for Papers

The NADCA Annual Meeting brings together a diverse group of over 500 NADCA members and HVAC industry professionals, including air systems cleaning specialists, mold remediators, HVAC inspectors and others interested in HVAC inspection, cleaning and restoration.

Call for Papers Overview

NADCA is initiating a Call for Papers for individuals who are interested in presenting at the 30th Annual Meeting and wish to submit a paper for consideration by our Annual Meeting Committee. The 30th Annual Meeting will be held March 31- April 2, 2019 at Music City Center, Nashville, Tennessee. 

Anyone with ideas and innovations in the following general topic areas is invited to submit a paper for consideration.

Industry Track Topics Related to:
• Commercial HVAC Cleaning Industry Trends & Advancements
• Residential HVAC Cleaning Industry Trends & Advancements
• Indoor Air Quality Trends & Advancements
• HVAC Cleaning Industry Regulations, Standards & Public Policy

Business Track Topics Related to:
• Labor Law / Legal Issues
• Prevailing Wage
• Marketing & Business Management Strategies
• How to Grow Commercial HVAC Cleaning Business & Emerging Commercial Markets
• How to Grow Residential HVAC Cleaning Business & Emerging Residential Markets

Papers that will grab the attention of the Annual Meeting Committee are:
• Advanced, technical and reveal new ways of thinking about the HVAC Cleaning Industry
• Real-world case studies for HVAC System Cleaning & Indoor Air Quality advancements & practices
• Papers that will engage the audience in a creative or interactive way
• Provide practical and innovative take-aways that participants can apply in their own businesses.

Submission Guidelines

Authors are expected to complete in full the paper submission form and submit it by the deadline listed. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.

If your paper is strictly a marketing piece provided or produced by a commercial entity, it will not be accepted. If you have a relationship with a commercial entity, you must acknowledge it on the paper submission application form.

Your paper must be applicable to one or more of the topic areas listed in the application form.

Submission of a paper does not guarantee that you will be selected to present at the NADCA Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting Committee will give each application submission a full review and reserves the right to accept or reject papers submitted for consideration based upon the requirements and needs of our Annual Meeting program.

When submitting your paper, keep in mind that typical Annual Meeting presentations do not exceed 1 hour in length.

Submission Deadline

Please complete the following submission form by no later than Friday, May 4, 2018. Applications received after this date will not be considered. Confirmation will be sent to the primary author’s e-mail address provided. Keep this information for future reference and for any correspondence with the meeting organizers. Applicants will be notified of committee selections via email by no later than August 31, 2018.

Compensation/Reimbursement

Authors who submit to the Call for Papers and are selected and approved to present at the 30th Annual Meeting do not receive compensation or reimbursement.  Any expenses incurred related to attendance at the Annual Meeting including travel and/or registration fees will be the responsibility of the presenter.
