Identifying priority catchments for landscape scale nature restoration |
Helping infrastructure providers and local authorities adapt to climate change.
Sniffer and the James Hutton Institute have been commissioned by NatureScot to help target landscape scale nature restoration projects at those catchments which can deliver multiple benefits to both communities, infrastructure, the economy and nature, to best support climate change adaptation.
This survey is designed to understand where agencies, infrastructure providers and local authorities are already using nature restoration techniques to address climate risks, and where they think opportunities exist to use nature restoration to reduce risks to their assets and to communities.
The questions will gather information about the current use of nature restoration, areas identified as having potential for future restoration, types of restoration being implemented, and challenges and barriers at specific sites.
It will take less than 10 mins to complete this survey. If you have any queries, follow up maps or additional information to send, please contact info@sniffer.org.uk
