1. How does trauma affect Service personnel and families?

Thank you for taking part in this survey, which is intended to help find out how many people who have been in the UK Armed Forces are now suffering from post-traumatic symptoms such as flashbacks, anger, nightmares, etc, and how many actually have a diagnosis of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder).

The survey consists mostly tick-box questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete.

Please remember that you can stop taking this survey at any point by pressing the ‘Exit from Survey’ link at the top of the page, and you should do so if you become upset by it.

This survey is anonymous and completing it will not automatically connect you to the PTSD Resolution support system - if you would like help and support in connection with post-traumatic symptoms arising from military service you can contact Resolution on 0300 302 0551.

If you are desperate please contact your nearest Mental Health Crisis Team, and/or the Samaritans - their national number is 116123.
