We are proposing to develop a Theatre strategic plan focused on 5 draft pillars. Pillars are the principles that underpin the future strategies and actions for the Theatre. The draft pillars are described below:
Pillar 1 Welcoming - Lighthouse Theatre will create an environment where everyone feels invited, included and valued – from first time visitors to professional artists
Pillar 2 Vibrant - Lighthouse Theatre will celebrate creativity, diversity and professional excellence, energizing our community through dynamic programming and participation
Pillar 3 Inspiring - Lighthouse Theatre will support artists and audiences to imagine, create and grow, fostering pathways for lifelong engagement with the performing arts
Pillar 4 First Nations Participation - Lighthouse Theatre will commit to meaningful, ongoing engagement with First Nations artists, cultural leaders and communities across all aspects of our operations
Pillar 5 Regional Leadership - Lighthouse Theatre will collaborate with regional partners to strengthen the South West Coast’s cultural ecology and expand access to high quality performing arts, increasing visitation and the region’s cultural reputation
