EMS Stroke Data TSA-E

INCLUSION CRITERIA:
If EMS unit was dispatched for a patient ≥ 18 years describing signs and symptoms of stroke.
The following language is sufficient to identify patients with suspected stroke: any use of the word "stroke" or "CVA” or any documentation of signs & symptoms consistent with stroke, such as:
* Sudden numbness or weakness of face, arm or leg especially
on one side of the body;
* Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding;
* Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes;
*Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination; and/or
* Sudden severe headache with no known cause.
