2021 - 2022 AAF Board Positions

Programs Co-Chair: Plan and participate in exciting virtual events while working with industry experts. Join an already very successful team and work with many others on AAF's Board. This person will work with a team of two to three and collaborate with many other AAF Board Members.

AAF MarCom Team: Show off your talent by creating AAF Dallas' marketing and communications collateral. MarCom is an important role and an excellent opportunity to put your creativity to the test. Our MarCom chair or co-chairs will work closely with all AAF Board Members to promote various initiatives.

Government Relations Co-Chair: Learn about government actions that impact the Dallas, Texas, and U.S. advertising industry. Participate in local and district meetings to push elected representatives toward favorable conditions for the ad industry. Examples include keeping advertising non-taxable and advocating for a unified Federal Privacy Act.

Secretary: A straightforward but vital role for any successful organization! AAF Dallas seeks a Secretary to take roll call at Board Meetings, count official votes, take minutes, etc.

American Advertising Awards (ADDY's) Chair: This person should be familiar with the ADDY's, have excellent planning, logistics, and communication skills. The ADDY's is AAF Dallas' largest event each year. It involves a week-long judging process, theme and design selection, database maintenance, and event planning skills for the Award Gala. You won't go it alone, though! You'll be supported by our Executive Committee, our full-time Management Company, AAF Programs, Membership, and Digital teams.
