Wheels on the Bus Real Time Data - Bicyclist Survey

All VTA buses have front-mounted bike racks that let bicyclists load their bikes on the bus. VTA is conducting a study to see if real-time information about the availability of space on the bike racks would help improve the travel experience for riders.

Take a quick survey to let us know what you think! Your input is key to the success of this project.

Visit the project website for more information.

2.What is the biggest challenge to bringing your bike on a VTA bus?
3.How might VTA solve those challenges?

5.If you answered yes to the previous question, please tell us about the experience(s). What did you do? What bus route(s) were you taking?
6.Does the chance that the bike rack on the bus might be full make you less likely to make a bike + transit trip?(Required.)
7.If VTA could tell you, for example, through a mobile app, whether or not there was space on the bike rack before the bus arrived, would you use that information to plan your bike + transit trips?(Required.)
