State of the Nation in Suicide Prevention Survey 2026

Suicide Prevention Australia is the national peak body for the suicide prevention sector.

The suicide prevention sector is diverse and the landscape is continually changing. We have designed this survey to gather your insights to develop a clear picture of the state of suicide prevention in Australia at this time.

We will conduct this survey every year to identify trends over time.

This annual survey has been running since 2020.

This survey will take approximately fifteen (15) minutes to complete. The full survey is around 50 questions focusing on areas such as operations, funding, data, and important areas for advocacy, among others. This survey should be completed by respondents who are part of organisations engaged in suicide prevention or related work, as well as individuals with lived and/or professional experience and interest in the area.

Your contributions are invaluable to our future work.

This survey should be completed by organisations and people in the suicide prevention and mental health sectors.
