What kind of job fair would you like to see?
(Required.)
Reverse Career Fair
Ran like a traditional job fair, but roles are reversed. The job seeker becomes the one behind the table and highlight their talents through the use display/presentations on their tables. Employers have the opportunity to circulate amongst the various tables to learn about a particular candidate and make qualified hiring decisions based on those interactions.
Virtual Career Fair
A virtual career fair (sometimes called an online job fair) is an online "event" (as it takes place at a certain time and is not ongoing) in which employers and job seekers each meet in a virtual environment, using chat rooms, teleconferencing, webcasts, webinars and/or email to exchange information about job openings.
Speed Interviewing
A typical speed interview meeting could include up to 10 to 15 job seekers and sometimes the same number of interviewers. Each candidate moves along to a new interviewer at the commencement of a bell in a series of mini-interviews: Several candidates are interviewed for the same job with the same employer.
Traditional Job Fair
Traditional job fairs consist of booths and/or tables manned by recruiters and other representatives from each organization. The traditional job fair also gives job seekers the opportunity to learn more about potential employers and the opportunities available. The focus is on sharing information between organizations and job seekers.
