2026 Healthcare Professional Survey

Introduction

The MDS Foundation launched its Patient and Caregiver Survey initiative in 2015 to better understand the experiences and unmet needs of individuals affected by myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Since then, survey findings have been presented at international scientific meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals, helping to identify important trends and areas of concern across the MDS community.

In 2025, the Foundation launched its first Healthcare Provider (HCP) Survey to complement the patient and caregiver initiative and provide insight into the healthcare provider perspective on MDS care and management, including similarities and gaps in experiences, priorities, and perceptions.

The 2026 MDSF Healthcare Provider Survey will continue to explore key topics related to MDS care, patient quality of life, clinical practice, advocacy resources, and provider wellbeing. The information gathered will help guide future educational programs, advocacy efforts, and support resources aimed at improving care and outcomes for patients with MDS and related disorders.

Thank you for your participation and support of this important initiative. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
