1. Survey Introduction

This survey is being undertaken to support the G+ Walk to Work Gap Analysis Project.

It is intended for people who have personally crossed a W2W gangway. We want to understand what W2W operations are like in day-to-day use from the end user perspective, including training and briefing, how systems are operated, differences between vessels or systems, comfort and confidence, abnormal events, and the practices that work well.

Responses should take approximately 15 minutes. You may complete the questionnaire anonymously. Optional fields are provided near the start if you wish to give your name, company / organisation and contact details for use in follow-up communications. If you choose to provide identifying information, your individual response will no longer be anonymous, however data presented as part of the project will be anonymized. The survey is not a review of individual companies, vessels or equipment manufacturers, so please focus on the experience, practice or issue rather than naming individuals or organisations. There are no right or wrong answers.

This survey may be completed anonymously. Providing your name, company or contact details is optional and will only be used for this G+ Walk to Work guidance review and any follow-up you agree to. Personal data will be stored securely, will not be retained beyond what is necessary for the project, and will be deleted when no longer required. Findings will be reported in an aggregated or anonymised form unless agreed otherwise.
