Volunteer Committees Survey - Young Adult Advisory Council

Thank you for your interest in joining our Young Adult Advisory Council!

This council will serve as a safe space composed of young people (ages 18-28) that will be involved in planning, implementing, and reflecting on meaningful projects that are youth-led, conceived and driven. It will serve as an advocacy group to voice the needs, desires, and hopes for the Young Adults of the SERLC community. This council will work to achieve sustainable dialogue and discourse so that the Young Adults in our RCCs feel respected, empowered, and informed. This council will have consistent and structured meetings monthly via Zoom and will be comprised of peer support staff and peer community members.

We are just getting started with this council and you will have a role in deciding what you would like that to look like within the SERLC. Please take a moment to tell us about yourself. We would love to hear why and how you would like to get involved. And any skills and ideas you may have in creating a safe and affirming space to build advocacy skills and make a difference in the Young Adult experience in our healing SERLC spaces.
