In honor and memory of environmental legal pioneer Angus Macbeth, the Environmental Law Institute has been leading an effort to analyze the state-federal relationship in the environmental sphere as it exists today and what it could look like based on relative capacity, expertise, and the need for accountability. A central part of this effort involves collecting and incorporating the insights of key thinkers and actors from diverse, relevant sectors across the country.
