PCMHA Coaches Survey for 2026-2027 Season

PCMHA Coaching Positions for the 2026/2027 Season.

Pictou County Minor Hockey Association is seeking coaches to establish a coaching pool for all competitive and recreational level teams for the 2026/2027 season.

This survey is open to all that are new or have coached before. If there is anyone that you know of that has coached before but has not been part of our association passing this link along would be greatly appreciated.

3.Team / Level you would like to coach during the 2026/2027 season
4.Are you interested in being a Head Coach or Assistant Coach?
5.Have you completed any coaching courses/levels? Here is the link to HNS Coaching Requirements. https://hockeynovascotia.ca/coach/coaching-requirements/
6.If you answered yes to Question 5, what coaching courses/levels have you obtained?
7.Do you have CSA Basic First Aid (Emergency First Aid), CPR Level C and AED Certification?
8.Please provide a brief history of your coaching and/or playing related experience in hockey or other sports
9.If you have previous coaching history, are you willing to mentor new coaches on ice at the start of the season?
10.Are you willing to participate in the assessment of competitive tryouts **of a division that does not include your son or daughter** if contacted by PCMHA Technical Director Garrett Lambke?
11.Are you willing to volunteer in a bench management, dressing room management or any other roll necessary during the competitive tryouts **of a division that does not include your son or daughter** if contacted by our on-ice director or development director?
12.Have you completed your criminal record check (Please note that all coaches will need to show proof of a completed Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC), if you are planning to coach this season please get these checks completed as soon as possible at your local RCMP/Police station)
