Informed Consent

Background: We are asking you to take part in a survey study with questions about different cultures. This is the first in a series of studies. We want to learn about common beliefs people might have about different cultures.

Participation: Taking this survey is completely optional. You can stop at any time or skip any questions you don't want to answer. It will take about 10 minutes to finish all questions.

Benefits: Results from this study will be used to make programs that will help school psychologists increase skills related to different cultures.

Risk/Discomfort: We don’t expect you to feel uncomfortable while taking the survey; therefore, risks are not anticipated to be any greater than those incurred during the course of everyday living. If you don’t feel comfortable with any questions, you can skip them or stop the survey.

Cost: There are no costs for you to take part in this study.

Confidentiality: Your answers in this survey will be completely private. We won’t ask for your name or any personal details, so no one will know what you said.
