1. Hyperlocal Websites and Community Involvement

This survey is to understand the effects of hyperlocal websites on community involvement. Hyperlocal websites are websites such as seeclickfix.com, that center on local neighborhoods and communities. Community involvement is an action taken that will benefit the local community as a whole. This could be contacting a local government official; or posting an issue/concern online (such as a pothole, unsafe street crossing etc..); or coordinating a community event that generally benefits the community.

* 3. Did you ever contact a government official prior to using a hyperlocal website such as seeclickfix.com?

* 4. Did the ability to be anonymous, or the ability to post issues/concerns/events at any time on hyperlocal websites; make reporting a community issue/concern/event easier, or more difficult for you?

* 5. Was the experience of using a hyperlocal website such as seeclickfix.com to post an issue/concern/event easier than the traditional means of communication (i.e. mail, phone call, petitions, flyers etc...)?
