Being a member of Toronto People with AIDS Foundation is an impactful gesture that:

· Expresses your commitment to our Mission as we continue to improve the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS.

· Gives you important rights and responsibilities within the governance structure of Toronto People with AIDS Foundation.

Our Mission Statement: We engage people living with HIV/AIDS in enhancing their health and well-being through practical and therapeutic support services and broader social change, and we inspire them to live into their dreams and discoveries.

Your rights[1] as a member of Toronto People with AIDS Foundation include:

Receive notice, attend, and vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and special members’ meetings.
Make proposals to the board about items related to Toronto People with AIDS Foundation business to be included on the AGM agenda.
Stay informed of PWA events, activities and achievements/opportunities to engage in our work through our newsletter, e-blasts, annual report, and notices of our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Obtain a copy of Toronto People with AIDS Foundation’s rules of governance (articles and bylaws), latest approved financial statements, and minutes of past members’meetings
Obtain a list of Toronto People with AIDS Foundation’s directors and officers

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) typically happens around November, at 163 Queen Street East, 4th floor or on Zoom.
