The Libraries in Wendell and Shutesbury are seeking grant funds to provide additional free or low cost fitness classes for adults in our communities. Please complete this survey to help us determine fitness related interest and needs.
Adults need regular physical activity to stay healthy. The US Department of Health and Human Services has established the following minimum exercise guidelines for most healthy adults.
Aerobic Activity: At least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity such as walking each week.
Strength Training: Exercises for all major muscle groups at least two times a week.
