By National Union of Students Education Department

The National Union of Students Education Department is seeking information on the impact of budget cuts to the Monash Arts Faculty upon students and staff.

The cuts have so far resulted in increased class sizes; reduced face to face time in favour of online content; a reduction in available consultation hours; cancellation of tutorials and of subjects which are key in particular degrees; a ban on hiring sessional teaching staff with a PhD qualification; replacement of tutorials and lectures with once-weekly seminars or “lectorials”.

We’d love to hear about your experience of the cuts when teaching or studying in the faculty.

This survey is anonymous. Results may be used in publicity campaigns but participants will not be identifiable.
Thanks!
