We Need Your Support to Launch a New Charter School for Disengaged Students

Establishing the need for an alternative education (Charter School) in Calgary

We’re working to establish a new Charter School in Calgary for high school students, designed specifically to support young people who are at risk or have disengaged from mainstream education. The BUSY School will support students re-engage with learning, achieve academic success, improve wellbeing, and secure genuine employment pathways upon graduation.

To open the school, we must demonstrate genuine community need and demonstrate this to the Ministry of Education. Your responses will directly support the establishment of the school and future success of all students.

If your child would benefit from an individualized, flexible, and supportive learning environment – provided at no cost to you, including food, stationery, equipment, and uniforms – and you would consider enrolling them, your input is highly valuable.

This survey will take under five minutes to complete. At the end, you’ll also have the opportunity to express your support for the school.
