The Agile BioFoundry (ABF) is a Department of Energy National Laboratory-led consortium developing synthetic biology infrastructure for high-throughput strain development to advance biomanufacturing of fuels and chemicals. The foundry incorporates design software, multi-omic evaluation, machine learning, techno-economic and life-cycle analyses, microbial host on-boarding, scaling, and process integration with a focus on Design-Build-Test-Learn cycle efficiency. For more information visit agilebiofoundry.org.

The success of the ABF platform requires critical feedback. The purpose of this survey is to collect information that will allow the ABF to better understand and serve the biomanufacturing industry.

The estimated time to complete this survey is five minutes. Your responses will be anonymous unless you sign up for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card, donated by the ABF team, at the end of the survey.

Question Title

* 1. What type of organization do you represent?

Question Title

* 2. If industrial, about how large is your company?

Question Title

* 3. Where is your organization based?

Question Title

* 4. What best describes your role there?

Question Title

* 5. What capabilities of the ABF do you think you could be useful to your organization? Check all that apply.

Question Title

* 6. The ABF has defined a beachhead molecule as a key metabolic intermediate that can be converted into several target products. We envision that engineering strategies that enable production of a given target could be applied to other targets related to the same beachhead molecule.

Of the 25 potential beachhead molecules illustrated in green circles on the metabolic map below, please choose up to 5 that you think could be of particular commercial interest.

A larger version of the map can also be viewed here.
