This survey is intended to gather feedback from residential energy efficiency contractors across the country on the state of the industry and programs under the Inflation Reduction Act to provide rebates for residential energy efficiency improvements—Home Energy Performance-Based, Whole-House Rebates (HOMES) and High-Efficiency Electric Appliance Rebate (HEAR) programs—and grants to contractor companies for training (TREC).

The Building Performance Association and the AnnDyl Policy group are conducting this survey to gather contractor input, which will be compiled and shared with state energy offices and the U.S. DOE to help contractors have a voice in this process. Survey responses will only be shared in anonymized/aggregated format to protect your confidentiality. Options presented in this survey do not necessarily reflect how states or DOE will address these programs in their program guidelines.
