Make Your Move

Welcome to the Make Your Move Discussion Paper Feedback Survey. By completing this survey, you will be helping Council to develop the Make Your Move Strategy, which aims to increase our community's participation in physical activity.

Physical activity levels in the City of Greater Dandenong (CGD) are extremely low, with only 49 per cent of residents meeting the National Physical Activity Guidelines compared to 73  per cent of Victorians.

The top five barriers to physical activity participation for CGD residents are:

• Lack of information, communication and marketing of physical activity opportunities
• Cost to participate
• Safety
• Lack of time or motivation
• Lack of access to facilities and open space

Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.
