Decatur ISD – Family Feedback: Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)

The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) is a state program created by the Texas Legislature to provide funding for schools to reward and retain highly effective teachers.

Through this program, teachers can earn additional pay on top of their regular salary when they demonstrate strong performance in the classroom. Designations are based on both how teachers support and engage students and how much progress students make during the year.

Decatur ISD is now developing our local designation system - our plan for how we will measure teacher effectiveness and award designations in alignment with our district’s goals and values.

We want to hear from families. Your feedback will be shared with the TIA Planning Committee to help ensure our plan reflects the needs and priorities of our community.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your perspective!
