SFAND 2020-2021 Nomination of Officers

Nominate for the Future of SFAND

Are you or a colleague of yours leaders in the South Florida nutrition and dietetics community? If so, please consider nominating your colleagues and yourself for the following elected positions for the upcoming SFAND 2020-2021 year. Question Title

* 1. President Elect: The President-Elect will serve for one year, and at the end of this term, will assume the office of President. The President-Elect will: support the President in leading the SFAND towards its strategic direction and values; serve as a member of the Board of Directors; present a written proposal for the strategic plan and budget for term as President for approval by the Board; and perform the functions of the office of President in the absence or disability of the President.

* 2. Secretary: The Secretary will serve for one year. The Secretary will serve as a member of the Board of Directors; issue the call for all regular and special meetings of the Board of Directors and the SFAND membership; supervise the recording and distribution of any minutes of all meetings.

* 3. Treasurer-Elect: The office of Treasurer-elect shall be elected to office by membership of the SFAND. The Treasurer-elect shall serve for one year on the Board of Directors and at the end of this term shall become Treasurer of the SFAND. In the event of a vacancy in the term of the office of treasurer, the Treasurer-elect shall succeed to the office of Treasurer.

* 4. Chairman of the Nominating Committee: The Chairman will issue the SFAND's official ballots and notify candidates and membership of election results. The Chairman of the Nominating Committee is elected annually.
