We would like to formally invite you to participate in West Bloomfield Parks’ 2022 Trick-or-Treat Trail! Sunday, October 23, 2022

This is a community-wide, family-friendly event so we hope you will join in!
Pledge your time today along with other community businesses, athletic mascots and nonprofit organizations to help make this year’s event bigger and better than ever before!

If you would like your business or organization to participate, here is what you will need to know:

1. You will need to bring at least 1,000 pieces of candy. We are expecting 700 children to participate (and even more parents and grandparents).

2. We will provide you with an 8 foot table and 2 chairs. Please consider bringing a pop-up tent in case of rain (event runs rain or shine.) You must provide tent weights as well. Please note, space heaters are not permitted.

3. We encourage you to decorate your tent/table area (must be non-scary.) If you need help coming up with goodies to pass out to the children, we can make a suggestion. In addition to candy, you’re welcome to bring a display, flyers, a banner, pamphlets, or any information you choose on your organization. Flyers must be limited to ¼ pages in order to save space in the children’s bags for everyone’s giveaways. If you have a costumed mascot, we can provide a changing area.

4. You will be mailed two parking passes the week prior to the event. We can only allow two cars per vendor into the Park. We recommend carpooling or parking additional cars at the West Bloomfield School District’s Administration & Community Services building at 5810 Commerce Rd.

5. Please plan to stay the entire time on October 23rd from 2-5:45 p.m.

This form must be completed by October 1st to ensure we have enough space for everyone. You will receive confirmation from a WB Parks representative within a week of submitting your form.

I understand there is no electrical available for this event. Additionally, I understand that I (or my representative) must be at Marshbank Park by 2pm to set up my table. If I arrive late, I may be stuck in traffic and may not be able to enter the Park. I plan on staying the entire time and understand there are 4 timeslots total and the last session of children need to experience the same as the first session of children. Each timeslot takes about 45 minutes and will have approximately 175 children participate. The last trick-or-treaters will pass by my table at 5:30 and clean-up is between 5:45pm-6pm. If I don't show up on the day of the event or leave early, I forfeit the opportunity to participate in the event in the future.
