Section 1 - Cultural values at organisations in China
Section 1 - How important, to be successful, is this value for you to be observed or considered while working at the organizations in China?
Section 1 focuses on identifying these cultural values which you consider of supreme importance and of no importance to be observed or considered by yourself to be successful while working at organizations in China. Cultural values are defined as "inclinations, fundamental motives and beliefs guiding the prevailing portion of the population in making choices, underlining actions and making decisions" (Hosftede 2007, Bjerke 2004, Gajda 2005).
Please, find below a list of 40 values and rate each of them applying an importance scale: 1 – 9: (1) no importance, (9) supreme importance. The larger the scale number, the greater importance to be observed or considered by an expatriate leader to be successful while working at organizations in China. Provide one scale number only to each item below.
