The Common Goal Community brings together organisations from around the world that use football to create positive social impact and help young people play, learn, and thrive. This Expression of Interest is the first step in the membership journey. It is designed to help us understand your organisation’s work, context, and interest in becoming part of the Community.

The Common Goal Community brings together organisations from around the world that use football to create positive social impact and help young people play, learn, and thrive. This Expression of Interest is the first step in the membership journey. It is designed to help us understand your organisation’s work, context, and interest in becoming part of the Community.
Important to know
- Expressions of Interest are reviewed only three times per year during designated application windows. They are not reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Submission of an Expression of Interest does not guarantee progression to the next stage of the membership process.
- The Common Goal Community is not a funding programme, and submitting an Expression of Interest is not a funding application.
By submitting an Expression of Interest, you confirm that your organisation meets the basic eligibility criteria, including that it:
- uses football as a meaningful part of its work to create positive social impact
- does not select participants based primarily on football talent
- is legally registered and has been operating for at least two years
- is independent from political parties and religious institutions
- has appropriate safeguarding measures in place
- welcomes participants in a non-discriminatory and inclusive way
- is not subject to any serious ongoing investigation, sanction, or comparable concern that would raise significant questions about suitability for membership
