Greenhouse gases are emissions released into the earth's atmosphere as a direct result of an activity, or range of activities such as manufacturing or construction etc.

Marinus Link will assess potential greenhouse gas emissions generated by the project's construction, operational and decommissioning, and identify measures to avoid, reduce and offset emissions.

Please tell us with as much detail as you can, about your concerns associated with greenhouse gases and the construction, operation and maintenance of Marinus Link.

Question Title

* 15. Hydrology and groundwater
Hydrology is the study of water above and below the earth's surface including where it is, how it moves, its physical and chemical properties and its relationship with the living and material components of the environment. Groundwater is a key component of this.

Marinus Link will assess groundwater and hydrological features within the study area and identify potential impacts and measures to avoid and minimise them.

Please tell us with as much detail as you can, about your concerns associated with hydrology or groundwater, such as location, water body quality and potential impacts.

Question Title

* 16. Landscape and visual amenity
The landscape and character of an area means different things to different people. However, they are characterised by the shape of the land and its environment or use. Changes to the physical character of a landscape has the potential to change its visual amenity.

Marinus Link will assess the project's landscape and visual amenity effects on public and private views, and significant landscape values in the project's vicinity.

Please tell us with as much detail as you can, about your concerns associated with the landscape, such as location, landscape characteristics and potential impacts you would like to see the project avoid.

Question Title
