* 2. Adult Short-Term Study Leaders - Use provided bible study materials to lead 4-8 week short term studies on variety of topics with a schedule that fits your availability. May be on-line or in person based on preference.

* 3. Pre-K Leaders - Use provided curriculum to create fun, safe learning
opportunities for pre-K kids on Sunday mornings.

* 4. K-5 Leaders - Use provided curriculum to create fun, safe learning
opportunities for K-5 kids on Sunday mornings.

* 5. Nursery Volunteer - Care for birth through 2 years old on Sunday mornings during worship or assist with childcare needs during the week while adults are involved in growth and serving ministries.

* 6. Family Fun Ministry - Be part of a team that helps with fun special events
during the year around Advent, Lent and Summer especially, to offer families positive spiritual growth experiences and tools to continue growing with Christ.

* 7. Upward Sports Volunteer - During league season, need basketball coaches,
cheer coaches, referees, program administrators, concession staff for games, building ambassadors, and other set up/tear down assistance.

* 8. Youth Ministry Team - Serve as mentors and leaders for the youth. Serve as a small group leader, keep in touch with students, and help chaperone and lead at activities, both on and off campus.

* 9. Ambassador - During Stage 3 only, help guests and members experience a welcoming, safe environment on Sunday mornings by greeting at entrances, guiding new guests to the welcome center, directing people to anticipated activities, watching for medical or security emergencies, and communicating with other team members.

* 10. Connections Team - Anticipate guest arrivals, build new relationships,
provide information at welcome center, act as tour guide, find ways to connect person & interests with ministries of CTUMC, be a point of contact for new person to help them feel at home on future visits.

* 11. Concord Connect Group Leader - Build a space for confidential community, develop the group with fun and faith, facilitate shared discussions about spiritual growth struggles and opportunities, and encourage group to care for one another as well as the needs of the community at large.

* 12. Usher - A positive ambassador of CTUMC who works primarily with assisting people with finding a seat for worship/special event, with aiding in any special needs such as getting hearing assist or storing ability devices during service, and assisting people with exiting after the experience. Also assists with any emergency evacuations needs.

* 13. Hospitality Crew - Create a welcoming place for guests to meet others
in the church for connection to Christ and to the CTUMC family. Make and set up coffee service, greet people, clean coffee area and keep tabs on items needed for future use.

* 14. Chancel Choir - Use your musical talents to enhance worship. Wednesday night practices for Sunday mornings and special concerts. Singing opportunities at any skill level.

* 15. Handbell Choir - Use your musical talents to enhance worship by being in a bell choir. Must be able to read music.

* 16. Wire Choir - Use your musical talents on a stringed instrument to enhance worship. Must be able to read music.

* 17. Scripture Reader - Use your voice by reading the scripture in worship. Must have an ability for public speaking.

* 18. Instrumental Musician - Use your musical talents to enhance worship with a musical instrument. Must be able to read music and have instrument.

* 19. Sound System Volunteer - Aide in worship and event experiences by regulating sound controls and volume. Training is required.

* 20. Multi-media Volunteer - Aide in worship and event experiences by advancing computer slides. Training is required.

* 21. Music Librarian - File music as directed. Need organizational skills and knowledge of Excel.

* 22. Concert Series Board - Support the arts and the love of music by serving on this board.

* 23. Financial Counter - Help the church be financially responsible and have best financial practices. Be on a rotation to count the offering money on Mondays some time between 8:30am-2:30pm, or Tuesdays some time between 8:30am-Noon.

* 24. Call Connector - Make phone calls to connect with congregation members who are homebound or unable to leave home easily, check on their well being, find out any needs, and pass information on to staff.

* 25. Prayer Team - Receive the Public Prayer Chain to pray for the congregation, needs of pastors, family, friends and community.

* 26. Care Team - Provide pastoral support by visiting, calling, or sending cards to congregation members who are in hospital, nursing home, private homes, or in crisis.

* 27. Greeting Card Maker - Make homemade greeting cards for birthdays, holidays & seasonally for our homebound, Jefferson Barracks Veterans' Home, and some nursing homes.

* 28. Meal Help - If you like to cook or serve, especially for larger crowds,
we have opportunities throughout the year for special
events, senior adult lunches, summer camp counselors,
etc.

* 29. Funeral Assistant - Assist with getting Sanctuary ready for welcoming
family and guests for a celebration of life service, helping as needed during service and clean up afterwards by putting items away (tissue boxes, plant stands, easels, reserve signs).

* 30. Office Assist - Help with small projects, mailings, labeling mailings, updating database information, etc., as needed. Basic phone and computer skills are needed as well as hospitality.

* 31. Yard Work Assist - Use your green thumb and help us maintain the grounds surrounding the church property.

* 32. Social Media Poster - Promote the ministries and missions of CTUMC through
regular posts on approved Social Media channels.

* 33. Micah Ministry Team - Persons with a heart for social justice concerns and
finding helpful Christian responses to issues such as racial justice, inclusiveness, human sexuality, creation care, etc., will find support within this team seeking to follow Micah 6:8.

* 34. Mission Encourager - Every Christian should be serving in the mission field
and Mission Encouragers help those in our church know of ways to give and serve through church sponsored missions, as well as help others find their own passion for climbing the mission ladder, from giving financially, to giving time for serving, to giving leadership for mission and justice concerns.
