Sensory processing, trauma and attachment informed care

Presented by:

Tina Champagne, PhD
This two-day workshop will explore how sensory processing patterns are influenced by trauma, attachment, and mental health challenges and the impact on occupational participation. Through the use of lecture, case examples and interactive lab sessions, participants will explore how to identify and integrate the use of sensory processing and trauma-related assessment and treatment planning resources to support clinical reasoning and practice. Case examples will be used to demonstrated how to modify the information reviewed across child, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Research will be presented highlighting the relevance of this area of focus to occupational therapy. Participants will leave with a variety of practical ideas and resources to use in clinical practice.

The CAOT Member early bird price is typically $425-525 for this two-day workshop.
