Thank you for your interest in the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Summer Legal Adventure. This program was established to honor Stephanie Tubbs Jones’ legacy and commitment to the practice of law, public service, and education of aspiring lawyers and future leaders. This application may take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Please follow these guidelines when preparing and submitting your application:
1. You must submit the names of two references, either from two teachers OR from one teacher and one other professional. Your references should be able to attest to your ability to succeed in a challenging program that will provide you with educational advancement and professional opportunities.
2. A current resume that shows your education and work history, achievements, and volunteer and extracurricular activities. Please use the enclosed resume sample as a guide.
3. Include a typed essay that demonstrates your interest in the Summer Legal Adventure. Please explain what you hope to gain by participating in this program. The essay must be 300-500 words, typewritten, and double-spaced.
4. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
