This survey is designed to gather important data to support the industry’s ongoing advocacy efforts, including booking trends and the latest financial situation facing UK travel businesses.

All data collected will be anonymised and aggregated and will only be used for the purpose of assisting industry advocacy.

Please note that the questions relating to bookings in 2025 are compared with bookings in 2024.

5.Looking at individual bookings made (successful departures/arrivals) between 1 May 2025 and 31 October 2025 by volume, how does this compare with bookings in the same period in 2024?


Answers should be given as a percentage. Taking 2,000 bookings in 2025 and 20,000 in 2024 would be 10%. Increases in booking volumes should be reported with a figure over 100% - if you took 20,000 bookings in 2024 and 22,000 in this period, that would be 110%.
6.Looking at individual bookings made (successful departures/arrivals) between 1 May 2025 and 31 October 2025 by value, how does this compare with bookings in the same period in 2024?

Answers should be given as a percentage. If your bookings were worth £200,000 in the most recent period and £2,000,000 in 2014, this would be 10%. Increases in booking values should be reported with a figure over 100% - if your bookings were worth £2,200,000 in the most recent period but only £2,000,000 in 2024, that would be reported as 110%.
