These sessions are designed for parents to have a better understanding of what reinforcement is, and how to use reinforcement effectively with their child. Using a reinforcement inventory preferred items and activities will be identified. Preference assessments will help establish a reinforcement hierarchy. Preferred items and activities are not necessarily effective reinforcers. Reinforcement is by definition an item or activity that increases the future likelihood of the desired behaviour.

Benefits:
Reinforcement used effectively can decrease undesirable behaviours and increase desired behaviours.

Duration: 1.5 hours per week for 4 weeks

Start as early as July 13, 2020.

To be scheduled with Therapist based on Caregiver availability. Sessions to be scheduled between July and September.
