Ohio Teacher Leadership Summit 2024 - Call for Presenters "The Power of Imagination"

This form will be used to receive submissions to present at the 2024 Ohio Teacher Leadership Summit on June 5, 2024 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. We are seeking proposals from educators, administrators, researchers and education professionals in the field of teacher leadership.

The Summit promotes the Guiding Principles set forth in Future Forward Ohio. 

Breakout sessions can be presented in various formats such as panel, interactive discussion or lecture.

Summit Goal: Build a state-wide network of teacher leaders and administrators to promote and strengthen teacher leadership in Ohio that results in shared leadership.

Summit Objectives:
*Bring together schools, districts and organizations doing innovative work to develop teacher leaders to share successes, lessons learned and strategies for overcoming challenges around teacher leadership implementation.
*Gather teacher and school leaders together to share materials, create networks and connections and engage in professional learning that advances teacher leadership.
*Offer teacher leaders an opportunity to develop presentation and facilitation skills and allow other leaders to learn from their expertise.

Presentations will run concurrently for 45 minutes. Presenters may be asked to repeat their session during the day for two presentations. Presenters may submit multiple proposals by submitting a separate form for each proposed session. Submitted proposals are not guaranteed selection. Selections will be based on topics covered and alignment with the Summit goals and objectives and the Ohio Teacher Leadership Framework components.

Submission Process:
*Complete the Call for Presenters form and submit electronically by November 29, 2023. 
*Notification of the status of submission will be e-mailed to the primary presenter by February, 2024.
* Proposal reviews and final selections will be made by the summit program organizers from those submitted. Sessions conducted by practitioners that include practical, immediately applicable work tools and knowledge will be given preference.
*The Ohio Teacher Leadership Summit is a platform for innovation in teacher leadership. Contributors share their expertise without expectation of payment in the spirit of networking and professional learning.
*Selected presenters will be asked to provide final material prior to the event.
