Webinar Title: How to Get Your Next Engineering Job
Speaker: Dan Ryan

We have all been there. You get that first job and everything goes well, but then something happens and you start to wonder what else is out there. This Webinar will explore getting that next job, whether it is an internal promotion or an external opportunity with another firm. We will talk about how you can make yourself more valuable to your present firm and to others, and there will be information about the best tools and methods you can use when the “external route” seems to be the only choice.

This Webinar is ideal for both the younger engineer and the mid-career professional who has to make choices that he or she has not been prepared for. It will also be invaluable for the seasoned professional who is “out of step” with the many new social networks that have grown in use for career transition and job advertisement.
Speaker's Bio:

Dan Ryan has earned a master’s of education from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, an MBA from Tennessee State University, and a B.S. in engineering physics from Murray State University. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member for Belmont University.

At the end of the webinar, Anthony Fasano, P.E. author of the Amazon.com bestselling book Engineer Your Own Success: 7 Key Elements to Creating an Extraordinary Engineering Career will be with us to answer your questions about the job search process. Anthony is an engineer and career coach who after becoming an associate partner at a reputable engineering firm at the age of 27, decided to transition his career from designing to inspiring engineers. He now speaks to engineers all over the world on how to create extraordinary engineering careers based on his book Engineer Your Own Success. Anthony will answer all of your questions on this topic and also give some additional strategies for resume preparation and acing the interview. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet with Anthony and get a leg up in your engineering career!
